Watching Lightning Storms
One of those simple pleasures activities that I love to do when I was kid was watching lightning storms.
I used to sit beside the window and watch these marvelous phenomena popping and streaking all across the sky. It’s like watching fireworks.
Now I’m teaching my kid how not to be afraid of lightning and thunder by simply watching and observing them. Unfortunately, the last lightning storm didn’t occur at night so it wasn’t that spectacular. It’s fantastic to see lightnings at night when everything is dark.

This is one of my favorite things! I absolutely LOVE a good rainstorm. It makes every sense come alive. There is nothing like the smell of a thunderstorm.

I also love lightning, and started capturing some pictures last year. This year the season is about to begin. We had our first thunderstorm last weekend. The pictures from the weekend can be found on my blog. Last years pictures are on the website. Enjoy!
