Walgreens Cleaning Products Deal
Today, I ran in to Walgreens to buy 7 products and get $10 back. I had coupons and could have paid a total of 50 cents after the Register Reward and coupons, but I ended up doing a slightly different combo to try the new toilet cleaning gel from Scrubbing Bubbles and paying $1.50 total. (Some of the products, like Windex and Shout were $2.49 and some were three something instead. Sorry I can’t be more accurate - I seem to have misplaced the ad I picked up in the store and all three of my papers were missing a Walgreen’s ad today.)
Anyway, if you stick to the $2.49 items, buy 7 and have 7 $1 off Windex coupons or 75 cents off Shout coupons, you can really stock up on things like Windex and Shout for a good price.
The other thing I saw was Crest Pro-Health mouth rinse on sale for $4.50. Since a $4.50 Register Reward will print out at the checkout, that’s free mouthwash.
I’ve heard a lot of chatter about cough syrup this week, but it isn’t a deal I’m planning to do. We usually drink honey tea and gargle with salt water instead of using cough syrup. However, if you are interested in doing the cough syrup deal, I just noticed that Money Saving Mom has some info on it.

If you got this Sunday’s paper (and you have a Meijer in the area - midwest) most of their Lysol stuff is $1.49. This Sunay’s paper had 50c coupons. Meijer doubles to $1.00 - I got some cleaning stuff for 50 c each!
