Just how many easy tips to save money articles have you read already? Too many but you still can’t get enough of ‘em I’m sure because you won’t be reading this unless you need to nudge yourself more to get into that penny-pinching mood, right? Ok, enough yadda-yadda’s.
It is imperative that we all practice these tips on how to make savings a less taxing (pun intended) task:
1. Set a clear goal.
No one saves money by hit and miss. Planning “often” makes mistakes and withdrawals tad easier to avoid.
2. Use a jar.
This kiddie way to save money is still “in”. Loose changes will not get lost if you have a jar to keep ‘em somewhere safe, right?
3. Buy generic.
Branded stuff or signature clothes can make you feel more “privileged”. But will you still feel that way if you know that somebody can save more money for other needs by purchasing generic items?
4. Do it yourself.
Many people are already realizing the kick one can get from being an efficient handyman for themselves. Just take care to avoid costly DIY mistakes.
5. Plan a garage sale.
Don’t be a pack rat. There are dozens upon dozens of stuff in your house that you can do without. Garage sales are one of the best ways to pull out some extra cash.
