Thriftcraft - The Sport of Thrifting
A new weblog launched yesterday that I thought some of you might find interesting. Thriftcraft.com is the work of Hillary Lang, renowned craft blogger of Wee Wonderfuls fame, and it deals with the sport of thrifting.
For those of you who may be scratching your heads, the sport of thrifting deals with the fine art of thrift store shopping and what one does with one’s thrifty finds. In Hillary’s own words…
I’m not exactly sure how this will all evolve – and that’s the fun of it – but here’s what I have in mind so far…
- show and tell of thrifted finds
- vintage and recycled fashions
- projects made with recycled materials
- yarns about my thrifting adventures
- how to mine the thrift store for craft supplies
- lots and lots of links to cool stuff!
