Save the World Save Money
Have you ever considered the fact that saving energy could eventually help you save money? Residents at Oxford were witness to this fact thanks to the green exhibition organized by Olly Woodford, a twenty-eight year old Oxford resident who decided that a lot of people should be aware of changes in the climate before anything else is too late.
The exhibition was free and presented photos, art works, videos that highlight climate change as well as any material that is related to climate change and the impact it has on the current environment. The aim is to help people confront the issue and, more importantly, understand it.
Wooford is a student of engineering and believes that any action to better or avoid climate change will start if only there is wide support on any initiatives to save energy whether in the home or at work. Take note that the earth is flooding down during the winter and drying up especially during the summer.
Efforts could be as simple as using the bus instead of a car, using your laundry machine in low temperature, or using light bulbs that are efficient in energy.
Larger efforts are also underway in Washington via an ad that poses environmental questions and concerns that highlights the value of efficient energy in the policy related to national energy.
The ad is created with the hopes of reminding policy makers as well as a large portion of consumers to a website that values energy, environment and economy interconnectedness.
