Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Ideas
So Valentine’s Day is next week. For most couples it’s a day to celebrate and show your appreciation of each other. For most of us romantic evenings in overpriced bistros are out of the question. What follows are some ideas for a romantic evening together. None of them cost much money and all come from the heart.
- Prepare a candle lit dinner for two. Wait until the kids are in bed or send them for a visit with grandma and grandpa. It doesn’t matter what’s on the menu. just the time you spend together.
- Create a CD featuring your favorite romantic tunes and slow dance the night away.
- Have a picnic. If you live in one of the warmer areas of the country, consider filling a basket with wine, cheeses, berries and other romantic fare. You don’t even have to travel if you have a back yard.
- Wrier a love letter. A well written love letter is the best gift ever.
