DIY Tips: Make Your Own Soap

by Deborah Ng on May 18th, 2007

Thanks to the Mother Load for turning us on to another great blog post. This one is from Sew Green and features instructions for making your own homemade laundry soap. The tutorial includes step-by-step details plus pictures, and it looks very easy. Easy and cheap are our favorite things!

Personally, I find the idea of storing the homemade liquid sort of scary, so I’ve been making the homemade powder from Washing Soda, Borax and grated soap for the last 3 years. It works fine and is very inexpensive (there’s a link to the article and recipe on my blog sidebar under “Favorite Posts)
