Crocheted Grocery Bag Shoes
Oh man, these totally rock! For you regulars, I did a post a couple of weeks ago on how to make crocheted tote bags from plastic bags (see here) that got me all excited. Well, these are even better.
This young lady was attempting to make some totes after having seen the same original post at Make:blog, but ran out of the colours that she wanted to use. Unwilling to wait until the next grocery day, she decided to try making something else. The results are awesome.
The pattern was improvised but came out fitting really well. The maker is not sure whether they’ll hold up outside but they are working great as sandal-slippers for the time being.
There’s a tutorial available over at Craftster.org here and the maker says she may put out a pattern, but as a newbie crocheter, thinks if she can do it without one, anybody can.
