Can’t afford a rear projection TV? Make one
When you see a projection TV, do you say to yourself “someday, I’ll have one of those”? Why wait when you can create your own rear-projection TV.
Here’s one guy who made one himself. He already has an existing projector so there is no major cost involved. He made use of a white cloth hanged over the two bed posts to do a proof of concept.
Once it worked, he bought some plain white vinyl shower curtain, some metal grommets, some small bungee cords, and a little bit of ingenuity, he got himself a nice looking projection TV with about 65 inches diagonally.

Very well done, working with what was at hand.
I personally have been looking to do something like this for some time and I have to thank Chris and this web site for the information.
Now I have more info to go with. I only hope that my girl-friend will understand.
