Another Great Use for Vinegar
My friends call me the Vinegar Queen. It has nothing to do with a sour demeanor, though. I just prefer to use it over chemical products as it cleans just as well and it’s more economical. It’s also quite versatile. Though I have a gift for embellishment, I’m not lying when I tell you there are hundreds of uses for vinegar. The other day I found another great one.
I was rummaging around in my kitchen cabinet when I found a big puddle of spilled maple syrup. It’s looks as if it had been there for a while and wasn’t coming up without a fight. I was in no mood to start chiseling up gooey liquid so I sprayed some vinegar on and left it for a while. When I returned, the syrup had mostly dissolved and was easy to wipe away. Anyone who has ever tried to mop up a large puddle of spilled syrup would be amazed with the ease in which I was able to clean this mess.
We still buy the bottles of blue liquid to have on hand when needed, but I’m finding I need them less and less.
