I love coupons, but my system is not exactly the greatest. This week, in fact, I was so happy with how much money I saved until I noticed there were four coupons I could have used to save even more but they were jumbled in my messy drawer and I didn’t see them until it was too late.

according to the initial couponizer giveaway, you were asking for a money saving tip in order to be entered into the drawing for this couponzier giveaway.

my tip - which has worked out well for me since i started actually doing it! - is to make a list AND a budget and stick to it. Coupons can be wonderful money-savers, but if you buy things on impulse or out of budget just b/c you have a coupon, you don’t save any money.

why i am entering this giveaway is because i clip my ‘necessities’ coupons, but then promptly don’t use them b/c i can never seem to get them organized!

Our store is sending out coupons specifically tailored to our buying preferences. While my husband calls the little key tags nasty things becasue they keep track of everything, he likes the coupons. We are hitting the same economic slump everyone else is and our finances are starting to take a hit. So we decided we needed to use more coupons and my husband reminded me that there was that one site online that was giving out coupon organizers. I told him that the organizer was probably gone - but no, look, even better, more of them are here. Enter my name, we are desperate to get organized. My tip - use coupons they save money and every little bit helps.

Using coupons faithfully for products you want to try or that you use regularly is a great way to save some $$. Wow - I recently lost my coupon organizer (full of wonderful coupons, including free items). I have an 18 month old daughter and I guess I got distracted and put it down in the store or cart and never got it out. I have been meaning to purchase a new one, but keep forgetting (you know how it is shopping with a toddler). Right now all my coupons are loose in a pocket in my purse. I would love this!

Oops, I forgot to leave a money-saving tip. My latest thing is buying shoe insoles (on sale and with a coupon–several Dr. Scholl’s coupons have come out in the Sunday paper lately) and then using them to extend the life of my old sneakers and shoes. I just throw out the old one if it’s removable or I use the insole on top of the old outworn one. Insoles also make cheaper shoes more comfortable so I can save money on the shoes to begin with.

I love coupons and organize them in envelopes right now. I use them all the time at Kroger bc they double. Just last month I saved 71% of my bill at Kroger with their card and coupons and only paid $39 for a BUNCH of groceries!

I am new to CVSing and Walgreens and I did my first real savings today! I’m so excited to start saving and be able to provide more for my family!!! I think this would really help me out, I wouldn’t have to worry so much about being organized, just about learning the system as much as I can!! Thanks for all your help thus far.

I would love to have one of these with 3 kids and a husband witha hefty appetite I do a lot of coupon cutting and love to get online coupons when ever I can. I hate to lose a good coupon and kick myself at the store when I think i had it and managed to leave it behind!

Wow I would love one of these. I have been searching for a coupon system that would work for me and this looks like it would do the trick! My coupons right now are a mess and I can only cringe when I think of the deals I am missing due to it.

Oh my gosh! Look at all the comments…

I guess I’ll throw my hat in the ring, I would love to have a Couponizer! I would feel so sparkly and organized! What a neat idea - and much better than similar products.

Let’s see… my money saving tip:

I shop at off hours, take a list and attempt to stick to it. Just before I check out I go through my cart and force myself to put back three things that were not on the list that I thought I needed.
